Angela Niezgoda, DO

Women’s Healthcare of Illinois is excited to welcome Dr. Angela Niezgoda to our practice in September of 2024!

As an obstetrician and gynecologist, she is eager to provide our patients with compassionate personalized care from adolescence through menopause. She believes it is her job to empower patients to be involved in shared decision-making for their healthcare and has a strong desire to educate and advocate for her patients. She has a special interest in the minimally invasive da Vinci® Robotic surgery and high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Niezgoda grew up in Clarkston, Michigan and earned her undergraduate and medical school degrees from Michigan State University (Go Green!). She began to develop her passion for women’s healthcare after doing medical mission trips in Peru and Guatemala during her undergraduate and medical school education. She completed her residency training at Ascension Providence Novi and Southfield Hospital System in 2024.

In her downtime, you can find her traveling, reading, exercising, or trying the newest restaurants in Chicago.
